Rocker G Livestock was started in 1970 by Bud and Katy Gibson with the goal of providing premier rodeo livestock in the State of Hawaii.  Now forty years later, beyond anything we could have imagined, our bulls are bucking in PRCA and PBR events.  The bulls are direct results of a breeding program that went back to our own home bred genetics starting with our bull Rocky, crossing onto the genetics purchased in 1975 from Mr. Bob Barnsby which go back to the great bull Oscar.  Rocker G has also been in the beef business for many years crossing Brahman cattle with Hereford, Angus and Charolais.

Town and Country Stables, started in 1964,  is the headquarters of Rocker G Livestock.  The bulls are born and raised on our ranch that is located in the Waianae mountains on the western side of Oahu.  They stay in the mountain pastures until they are weaned then they are brought to the stables, where they are handled and schooled until they are long yearlings, at which time they are put back in the rocky, mountain pastures where they grow out until their two-year-old year.  They then come back to the stables to be schooled and prepared for rodeo.

Town and Country is also a horse training and boarding stable specializing in reined cow horse with rich bloodlines going back to Doc Bar.  The horses are trained by Bud Gibson in the old Spanish style of the snaffle bit, hackamore and finally the bridle.  Horses that have gone through the training program have done everything from playing polo, picking up bucking horses, Western Pleasure, team roping, English events and reined cow horse.  The stables is also used for its rodeo arena for numerous rodeos and bull riding that we have produced.
